frequently asked questions

WHAT'S IT LIKE TO BE IN A PHOTO SHOOT?

The best part about being in front of the camera is that you can relax

When we meet, we'll start with some "warm up shots". These are conversational, you and I getting to know each other better. We'll move briskly through poses, focusing on taking deep breaths, relaxing your shoulders, and adjusting for the most flattering angles. The captures will alternate between up close and far away, with natural candid motions being our top priority throughout the shoot.

HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION TAKE?

Professional Head Shots: 30 MIN

Lifestyle, Engagement, Personal, Newborn, Family Portraits: 1 - 1.5 HR

Half-day: Up to 4 HR

Full-day: 4 - 8 HR

Wedding: Duration of the event

when are you available to book sessions?

Portraiture sessions are booked during the golden hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 7 - 10 AM and 5:30 - 8:30 PM. Weddings, events, and day-rate engagements take place during their contracted hours. To set up a time for a session outside of these dates, drop me a line

Interested in a shoot outside of St Pete? We will create a session schedule that works for you.

Do I have to sign a contract to work with you?

Our exclusive contract is mutually beneficial. It outlines the terms and expectations of our agreements, notes the date - time - location of your session, specifies the delivery time, notes the quantity of photos to be delivered, retains all of our contact information, and more. You will be provided the contract ahead of reserving your session and should you have any questions, we can meet to discuss the document in person.

CAN WE MEET BEFOREHAND?

Yes! I take office hours at Station House, St Pete on Tuesdays and Fridays. Send me a message to schedule a consultation.

YOUR FINISHED PHOTOS to be delivered:

The select group of finished photos r\ready for delivery to you will have been processed according to your style, brand, and/or mood of the session in programs like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. The culled raw photos from your session will be held on an external hard drive for one year following the shoot.

Raw photos from the session are not provided as a part of any package.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Photos are delivered via a link to a zipped file privately stored in my Dropbox. You can download this file to your computer and access your full-size finished photos on all of your devices.

For portraiture and sessions with less than four people, the delivery timeline is one week.

For any session lasting a half day or longer, the delivery timeline is two weeks.

can I be your second shooter?

Though I am not currently hiring W2 or 1099 photographers, I am happy to provide live guidance and coaching when you schedule to assist with me at a session.

At this time, I am not accepting trades for products or services. If you are interested in an in-kind donation of creative services to your tax-exempt charity or cause, send me a message as available spaces fill quickly.

Do you want to trade?

While many of my current and frequent engagements become proud members of my portfolio, I do not currently take engagements without pay for portfolio growth.

Could you do this for your portfolio?
